CDM Monitoring - Sindicatum Carbon Capital, China
Sindicatum Carbon Capital are required to monitor and record CDM (Clean Development Mechanism, part of Kyoto protocol) data on their sites in China.
TelGas SCADA, together with Formac’s unique knowledge of gas plant controls, proved to be the first choice.
Sindicatum operate a number of landfill and CMM (Coal Mine Methane) sites across China. The control systems on these sites employ a range of different technologies so a versatile platform was required to provide a common network interface.
The Sindicatum solution utilises a TelGas Midi interface on each site to capture and record the required data and alarm logs. Telgas Midi also operates a web server allowing remote users to browse the plant operation.
Data and alarms captured from each site are downloaded periodically to Formac's central database server where the information is archived for subsequent analysis, graphing and reporting.
